New smiles welcome…

What to Expect at Your First Dental Appointment

Upon your first visit to our office, you will be greeted by one of our friendly front desk staff members. They will be available to assist you should you need any help filling out your forms. Please arrive approximately 15 minutes before your appointment time to complete the necessary forms we require prior to treatment. It is important that you bring with you information concerning your past medical history and any medications you may be taking.

Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, charting, diagnosis and treatment recommendations. We will also take x-rays for the proper diagnosis of interproximal decay which may not be apparent with just a visual exam.

Being well-prepared for your appointment will ensure that the doctor has all of the needed information to provide the best possible care for you. It also will help relieve any unnecessary anxiety you may be feeling. Please take some time to review our staff page and familiarize yourself with the doctors and hygienists.

We attempt to see you at your appointed time as much as possible since we believe your time is as valuable as ours. We love new patients and we appreciate the referral of your family and friends. It is the highest compliment you can pay us. To book an appointment, please call (709) 489-7165 for our Grand Falls-Windsor office or
(709) 673-3778 for a Springdale appointment or e-mail a request to familydentaloffice@nf.aibn.com.

For the protection of our patients, our office abides by the Privacy Act of Canada. To this end, personal information gathered will not be used or disclosed for purposes other than those for which it was collected, except with the consent of the individual or as required by law.
