Meet Our Team of Dental Hygienists

Steve Jeans

Steve Jeans attended Memorial University from 1986 to 1988 and then went on to Dalhousie University to study hygiene. He graduated with a Diploma of Dental Hygiene in May 1990 and started working with Dr. Bugden immediately. He follows current trends in dentistry through journals, online courses and continuing education courses offered through various dental organizations.

Steve lives in Lewisporte and commutes to Grand Falls-Windsor daily. He is very active in his church community serving in various positions in the areas of leadership, music and song. In his leisure time, he enjoys hunting, biking, photography and playing guitar.

He and his wife, Linda, have one child.

Becky Wiseman

Becky Wiseman is originally from South Brook. She graduated from Dalhousie University with a diploma in Dental Hygiene in 1998. She worked for several years as a hygienist in Newfoundland before moving to Ontario where she worked for three years. She joined our staff shortly after returning home and now works in our Springdale clinic. Becky will greet you with a warm smile and will make your dental visit a pleasing experience. She and her husband, Corey, have two children

Jodi Wicks

Jodi graduated from the Toronto College of Dental Hygiene & Auxiliaries in May 2009. A dedicated worker, she started with us at the front desk before a hygiene position became available. She now works permanently as a hygienist in our Grand Falls-Windsor clinic.
Jodi and her partner have two daughters.

Alexandria Hemeon

Alex first started as a dental assistant at Family Dental Office, where she also completed her work term. We were so impressed with her work that we hired her as soon as she finished her program. Soon after, Alex decided she wanted to pursue a career as a dental hygienist and we encouraged her to do so (with the promise to have her back once she finished). She graduated as a dental hygienist from the Toronto College of Dental Hygiene in May 2017 and began her hygiene career with us shortly after.

In her free time, Alex enjoys volleyball and many outdoor activities, including hiking and jogging. On weekends, she also enjoys the cabin life.

Hayley Belbin

Hayley is from L’Anse au Loup, Labrador. Hayley completed her Dental Assisting, Level II, at Keyin College in 2016 and worked with us assisting until 2020.  Hayley then went on and attended Toronto College of Dental Hygiene. She returned to work with us in April 2022 as a Registered Dental Hygienist.

In her spare time, Hayley enjoys skidooing, walks/hikes, going to the cabin, spending time with family, especially time spend with her nephew.
